Recordings first Saxon album (Dec 78 – Feb 79)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a news article in september 1978, they announced that they started rehearsing material for their first album and that they in 4 weeks went to the Trident Studios and planned to complete the recording sessions in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a later news article, They mention that the first Saxon album was recorded in a period over 3 month (December 1978 till februari 1979), see news article in May. So there was some delay in the original plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a Sounds article 1979, august 11 the review of the first Saxon LP discusses in dept the mixed feelings about the song choices, backgrounds and overall quality of the album (see below on this page). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
